Your evening begins with a warm welcome from your host, whose longstanding experience in viticulture brings an added layer of storytelling and cultural insight to the table. Guests will enjoy a curated tasting of regional wines, each reflecting the character, heritage, and craftsmanship of the island. This relaxed evening offers a rare opportunity to connect over food, stories, and traditions in a home environment shaped by generations of local hospitality.

Guests are invited to join in elements of meal preparation, learning about regional cooking customs and seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby land and gardens. The menu reflects comforting island flavours and traditional recipes, accompanied by local beverages and warm conversation. Getting a taste of one of the island’s most iconic Madeiran dishes: espetada (beef on skewer), marinated with bay leaves and garlic, served with bolo do caco, fried maize, potatoes, and fresh salad.
