A center of Sicilian food knowledge and culture, founded in 1989. We offer a different way of seeing, thinking, and engaging with food.

Join us in the heart of rural Sicily for a morning of cooking that culminates in a leisurely lunch in the typical Sicilian style.

Each lesson covers four courses of family recipes prepared with freshly harvested produce from our farm and the surrounding producers. You will spend the morning in the kitchen learning from our resident chef and our team of knowledgeable Sicilian home cooks. By the end of the lesson, we will gather around the table sipping wine from our estate, and enjoy the lunch we just prepared!

Description of Destination

The Cooking School’s story began in a 19th-century farmhouse tucked into the heart of a working vineyard, surrounded by fields under constant cultivation. You’ll be immersed in the true Sicilian countryside, and enjoy the sun at Case Vecchie’s courtyard for a glass of wine when you’ve finished cooking – and before coming back in for the bountiful fresh lunch!
