Later on, we will visit the busy market of Matosinhos, where you’ll explore bustling stalls brimming with the freshest catches of the day, from glistening sardines to giant octopus. Learn about the region’s fishing traditions and select ingredients alongside your guide, picking some fish that we’ll bring to the restaurant where it will be prepared for us, to taste. We move on to visit renowned seafood restaurants and savor expertly prepared dishes like caldeirada (Portuguese fish stew), grilled seafood, and amêijoas à bulhão pato (clams in garlic sauce) when in season.
